Olga is a Certified Professional Level Yoga Teacher (E-RYT-500) specializing in Gentle Yoga, Yoga for Seniors, and Chair Yoga Dance. Olga is certified in Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, Kripalu Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Therapeutic Yoga for Seniors, Yoga Nidra, Yoga Dance for Special Population, and BoneFit. She found yoga over 25 years ago, studying various modalities with prominent teachers including, ViniYoga for Emotional Health with Garry Kraftsow, Somatic Yoga with James Knight, and Reconnective Healing with Eric Pearl. Olga is also an active Auyrveda practitioner and life-long meditator. Integrating her therapeutic training and gentle yoga practices, Olga created the Open Heart Yoga program—a holistic program designed for the 50+ practitioner to help increase muscle and bone strength; build stamina; improve balance and flexibility; support joint health; and alleviate common health issues such as lower back, neck, shoulders and knee pain, arthritis, and pelvic floor problems. Using the time-proven benefits of yoga, Olga’s program promotes connection to our inner wisdom using exercise, breath, relaxation, and meditation. Olga shares her unique approach to Gentle and Chair Yoga at Yoga Conferences and Teacher Training Programs across Canada. When she’s not teaching yoga, Olga is also a columnist for “Be Healthy” Magazine and conducts seminars on healthy living.
